Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
It is so easy to be a pessimist because, to be one means mostly inaction on our part. But inaction starts to smell at a certain point and make us stale.
To be an optimist is hard. Especially an optimist who follow up with action. When things get difficult, it is so easy to give up and point fingers at circumstances but just like the old saying, there is a silver lining in everything and optimist do not waste a good crisis go to waste.
Challenging times has a tendency to bring clarity of purpose. And the experience has also makes us better.
My personal opinion is is everything goes your way, you are not taking enough risks and not pushing yourself to your full potential.
Winston Churchill knew this and ultimately was instrumental working with the allies to win World War II.
Did you know Winston Churchill had a speech impediment when he was young and suffered from clinical depression? Did he live what he preached?
Oh hell yes!
There is opportunity in every situation that is presented to us. Be like Winston Churchill.
A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity;
An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty
